Ⅰ. Introduction of Diesel Oil CFPP Tester

DCLH-510G Cold Filter Plugging Point Tester including two parts: 1. Freezing Point and Pour Point Testing unit, 2. cold filter unit.

It is designed and manufactured as per national standards GB/T3535 Pour Point, GB/T510 freezing Point and SH/T0248 cold filter plugging point of Petroleum products. Also conform to ASTM D97, ASTM D2386, and ASTM D6371 standards.

Ⅱ. Features and Advantages of DCLH-510G Petroleum Cold Filter Plugging Point Tester:

1. New Type Refrigeration Method Freezing Point and Pour Point Tester adopts bench structure, concise design and easy to use.

2. The working table is stainless steel material. It has one temperature control and two cooling tanks. The temperatures of these two baths are the same. All cooling baths can determine freezing point and pour point.

3. It is no need to use coolant in the chamber. The cooling speed is fast and cooling efficiency is high. The minimum temperature can reach -70ºC and temperature control precision is ±1ºC.

4. It can automatically control the temperature difference between the cooling medium and the tested sample so that the cooling rate is controlled in the uniform and stable way; with a built-in precise micro-computer timing device, it can ensure accurate result.

5. Cold Filter Plugging Point Tester meets special requirements of users, the instrument is applicable to the determination of cold filter point of distillate fuel, including diesel engine fuel containing flow improver or other additives, and fuel used in civil heating device.

Ⅳ. Working Conditions and Operating Principle:

1. The instrument should be placed on a flat and firm workbench, and air convection should be minimized in the environment.
2. Please do not use or keep away from open flames during operation.
3. The instrument should be placed in a dry and ventilated place when not in use.

Operating Principle:

1. According to the industry standard requirements of relevant test methods of cold filter plugging point, put the test tube with the sample into the instrument cold bath, and cool it under the specified conditions.

2. When the temperature control system of the instrument reaches the temperature set by the test, compare it with the value of the standard thermometer.

3. When their readings are the same, the sample is sucked into the suction tube through the standard filter screen of controllable suction filter.

4. Repeat this step every time the temperature of the sample is lower than the previous temperature by 1℃, until the amount of wax crystallization in the sample is enough to stop the flow or reduce the flow rate, record the temperature when the tube is filled with sample for more than 60s or the sample cannot return to the test cup completely as the cold filter plugging point of the sample, and the test is completed.
